Overview:
NextGen Teachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part Time Drama Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, inspire students, and facilitate their academic and personal growth. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality education while adapting to the diverse needs of students.

Duties:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and feedback.
  • Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all learners.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and behaviour.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and insights for improving student outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational abilities to manage lesson planning, grading, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Patience and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students in a dynamic classroom setting.
  • Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes, including digital learning tools and resources.
  • A genuine passion for education, particularly drama studies, and a commitment to fostering a love of learning among students.
  • A recognised PGCE/QTS and certificate
