We are seeking a passionate and dynamic English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school community in Leeds. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and a love of learning.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum resources and schemes of work.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards of attainment and achievement.
- Support students with varying needs to reach their full potential.
- Participate in school events, parent evenings, and CPD opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in English or a related subject.
- A strong understanding of curriculum planning, assessment strategies, and classroom management.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with young people.
