About the Role
The school is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate Geography Teacher to join the thriving Humanities faculty at the school in Leeds. This full-time position begins in September 2025 and offers the opportunity to teach KS3 to KS5 students in a dynamic and supportive environment. Position Details
- Location: Leeds
- Contract: Permanent full-time (September 2025)
- Pay Rate: £31650 - £49084 per annum
Essential Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum developments.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective geography lessons across KS3-KS5.
- Develop and refine schemes of work in line with the national curriculum.
- Create resources that support student learning and curriculum goals.
- Establish a positive classroom climate focused on respect and responsibility.
- Encourage student participation and promote independent learning.
- Support students' academic and emotional development.
- Maintain open communication with parents/carers on progress and concerns.
- Work effectively with support staff and teaching assistants.
- Assist in organising and leading geography-related events and enrichment.
