Accelerate Teaching is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Leeds. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students aged 11-16
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of mathematics, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support
- Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and initiatives
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high standards
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Maths or a related subject
- Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- A passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire students of varying abilities
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- A commitment to professional development and a desire to contribute to the wider school community
