The Role: As a Teacher of Maths, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities, ensuring all students are supported in achieving their potential. You'll play a key role in creating a positive and challenging learning environment that fosters a love of maths, while also preparing students for their academic futures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Developing differentiated lesson plans that cater to individual learning needs.
- Encouraging student participation and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborating with colleagues to promote best practices and support departmental goals.
- Participating in extra-curricular activities and interventions where necessary.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching maths at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge across the curriculum.
- Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
