We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join a secondary school in Bradford. This full-time position is starting ASAP.

Position Details

  • Location: Bradford
  • Contract: Full-time role
  • Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered)

Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way
  • Create a dynamic and exciting learning environment
  • Implement variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities and experiments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Conduct practical experiments, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing feedback that promotes continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a positive, focused learning environment while promoting discipline and respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, fostering a well-rounded educational experience for students.
  • Work closely with staff, parents, and guardians to support students' development
