We are seeking a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in South Leeds, supporting KS2 students from April to July. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school environment and help pupils reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons
- Work 1:1 and with small groups to provide targeted support and intervention
- Assist in maths, literacy, and topic-based learning
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning
- Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Help prepare classroom resources and contribute to lesson planning
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working in KS2 (preferred)
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and learning strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, proactive, and supportive approach
