  • Hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
  • Hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET etc.) 
  • Must have experience of delivering accredited training in Teaching Assistant/STLS and/or Early Years.
  • Hold a minimum of 2 years’ occupational competency as a Teaching Assistant/Teacher.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
  • Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards the Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning, and also Childcare if competent to do so.    
  • Plan and deliver engaging sessions both online and face to face with learners.
  • Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
