We are seeking a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Leeds, working in KS1 from March to July. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and engaging school environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons
- Work 1:1 and with small groups to reinforce learning and support pupil progress
- Assist in phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy activities
- Help with classroom organisation, lesson preparation, and resource management
- Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working in KS1 (preferred)
- Strong understanding of phonics and early learning strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, proactive, and supportive approach
