Reed is recruiting on behalf of a Consultancy firm based in Leeds city centre, our client is seeking an experienced Team Secretary to join the Business Support team. The role will be supporting their dynamic Planning team and will offer the right candidate the opportunity to work for a company who values their staff and offers a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Provide administrative support to the Leeds team, including 4 Directors and 7 fee earners
  • Manage the administration of the team’s invoicing, ensuring efficiency, precision, and accurate maintenance of invoice tracking systems
  • Complete day-to-day administration tasks with thoroughness and accuracy, such as formatting documents, compiling complex documents, submitting expense claims, and completing timesheets
  • Open and close new project files, assist in the preparation of fee proposals, and maintain file management protocols
  • Provide front-of-house cover, coordinate meeting room setup, and support business development events hosted by the team
  • Assist with onboarding new starters and perform other administrative and business support duties as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated thoroughness and accuracy in work
  • High degree of interpersonal skills, confident in engaging at all levels for team administration matters
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a team player attitude
  • Positive, approachable, and helpful, willing to go the extra mile for clients
  • Strong time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office package and advanced PC skills. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign is desirable
  • Understanding and ability to work in accordance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards
  • Interest in the consultancy sector and commitment to contributing to Quod’s success
