SF Recruitment is currently working with a national charity in the recruitment of an interim Shared Services Manager. Reporting directly into the Group FC, the Shared Services Manager is responsible for the management of 4 direct reports (18 within your remit). You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

The role is largely remote but the applicants must be able to travel to Leeds 1 day per week.

Circa £300 per day lasting 3-4 months with the potential to convert to a permanent contract.

Key tasks:

- Prioritising teams and tasks to ensure key deliverables, weekly, monthly and annually are completed such as cash allocation, supplier and expense payment runs, finance approvals, bank
reconciliations and KPI reporting
- Ensuring audit key tasks are planned and delivered to the year-end audit timetables.
- Identifying process and system risks and inefficiencies and driving change through Continuous Improvement to eliminate waste and improving controls across the Trust
- Engaging with the businesses through reporting and meetings to prioritise change activities with the goal of improving overall controls and eliminating waste
- Regular reviews of end-to-end processes and being responsible for data protection obligations (DPIA's) and business process flows comply with organisational standards
- Driving changes and updates to standards and policies and communicating changes to the business via the Trust standard communication channels
- Driving and delivering change projects and system updates
- Deciding and prioritising key change projects and resource to deliver the projects, working with the business and support functions to ensure process alignment and agreement.
