- Manage the procurement of indirect categories such as office goods, consumables, hire contracts, services, and utilities.
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure favourable terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure value, compliance, and performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and supplier consolidation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple sites to align procurement strategies with business goals.
- Travel to supplier locations and across the Group’s sites as required.
- BSc or MSc degree, preferably in a relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Strong communication abilities, with experience engaging multiple stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset and strong logical reasoning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Previous experience managing indirect spend or category purchases.
- Knowledge of chemicals, chemical distribution, or chemical manufacturing.
- CIPS qualification or equivalent.
- Additional IT skills beyond MS Office and Dynamics.
- Experience in contract management.
