Store Manager (Flooring)

£28,000 - £30,000 + Bonus  

Working Hours: Monday – Saturday 09:00 – 18:00 (8 hour shifts)

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a company who are widely recognised flooring suppliers to find their next Store Manager in Leeds or Wakefield Store. As the Store Manager, you will be the face of the showroom and will focus on the customers, providing them with inspiration and ideas for their new interior as well as managing a small team.

Main Responsibilities of the Store Manager (Flooring)       

  • Engaging with customers to understand their needs and providing them with tailored flooring solutions that meet their requirements and budget.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to promote repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Keeping up to date with new products and industry trends to provide customers with up-to-date and relevant information.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as the warehouse and delivery teams, to ensure timely and efficient order processing and delivery.
  • Achieving personal and team sales targets
  • Managing a small team within the showroom
  • Managing Rota’s and staff scheduling
  • KPI Monitoring and driving the branch sales

Experience and Skills required

  • Previous Store Management or Leadership role
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the flooring, sofas and beds, kitchens and bathrooms or cars industry
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to generate sales opportunities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software
