Class 1 Shunter Drivers Wanted!
The Opportunity -SourceCo Driving are proud to represent one of the largest and most forward-thinking family-owned businesses in the UK that has grown from humble beginnings into a company that now employs more than 7,000 people and has a turnover of more than £1.2 Billion, who are now looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Drivers for their distribution centre in Wakefield.
Working Hours Please note these are fixed shifts - Training and assessment done during the day then the successful candidate will move to night shift
Sunday-Thursday2000-0500
night shift Pay:
Monday-Friday £18ph-£20.17ph
Saturday £20ph-22.41ph
Sunday £22ph-£24.66ph
Location -Wakefield (LS26)
Duties include;
- Shunting trailers within the yard/designated areas.
- Performing vehicle checks.
- Collaborating with warehouse and transport to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Working in a professional manner in line with company guidelines.
Temp to perm opportunities for the right candidates
To be considered for this role, you must have the following;
- Category C & E Licence (Class 1) for a minimum of 6 months.
- No more than 9 points.
- Hold a full CPC.
- Have a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
