Elevation is working with an industry leading manufacturing business who are at the forefront of precision engineering and they are looking to expand their team further with an automation engineer!This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to develop their career with a company who recognises individuals' passion to grow and rewards it with on going training and progression. You will be working on fantastic automation projects and industrial robots where you will play a pivotal role in developing and improving next generation tools and fixtures.

As an Automation Engineer, your key duties will include:

  • Enhance daily operational metrics and implement lean manufacturing techniques
  • Manage projects, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and prepare business cases for capital expenditures
  • Utilise your engineering background (HNC/BEng or equivalent) in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automation, or Manufacturing
  • Use of Industrial Robots, previous exposure is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Design fixtures and tooling using 3D CAD
  • Identify new opportunities and lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Produce clear technical documentation, including proposals and standard operating procedures
  • Prioritise health and safety standards in a manufacturing setting
