If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dedicated School team, as a Behaviour Support Worker in South Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to children with behavioural and mental health issues.
- Implement and monitor individual plans in collaboration with the school's multidisciplinary team.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting emotional well-being.
- Utilise effective communication skills to engage with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience working with children with behavioural and mental health issues is beneficial
- Team Teach training is desirable.
- DBS check is essential
Skills and Attributes:
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.
Working Hours: This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work during standard school hours.
