About the Role: Prosper Teaching is seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to join a secondary school down in Huddersfield. In this vital role, you will work closely with students who face challenges related to their behavior, helping them to develop positive coping strategies and enhance their overall learning experience. Key Responsibilities:Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioral challenges. Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with teachers and other professionals. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to promote positive behavior and academic success. Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages personal growth and development. Engage with parents and caregivers to provide updates and strategies for continued support at home. Qualifications:Previous experience working as a Behaviour Support Worker, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role is preferred. Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or social work are advantageous. Strong understanding of behavioral management techniques and strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
