Are you passionate about supporting children and young people in overcoming barriers to learning? Veritas Education is excited to offer a full-time opportunity for an Inclusion Support Worker at one of our local primary schools in Leeds. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all students, especially those with SEN and SEMH, have access to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Position Details:

  • Role: Inclusion Support Worker
  • Location: Primary School, Leeds
  • Start Date: As soon as possible (pending compliance checks)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 15:30pm
  • Pay: £85 - £90 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across various year groups to support students in overcoming barriers to learning and classroom access
  • Provide tailored assistance to students with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement effective support strategies
  • Participate in additional training to enhance your skills, including de-escalation techniques for challenging situations

We Are Looking For:

  • Individuals with previous experience in an inclusion or support role (preferred)
  • Passionate candidates with a strong commitment to working with children and young people
  • Experience or interest in supporting students with SEN and SEMH
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one upon successful registration)
  • Professional or academic references covering the last 2 years
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
