Job Title: Upper Key Stage 2 Learning Support Assistant

Salary: 85 - 95 per day
Hours: Full-Time
Contract Type: Long-Term with Potential for Temp-to-Perm Opportunities

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Leeds. This full-time role will involve working closely with the class teacher to support Year 6 pupils, particularly in preparation for their KS2 SATs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and preparing students for KS2 SATs.
• Work with small groups or one-to-one with students who need additional support.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assist with planning and implementing interventions tailored to the needs of the pupils.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in Upper Key Stage 2, is desirable.
• Experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation would be advantageous.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
