Senior Recovery Coordinator / Apprentice Lead

Location: Leeds

Salary: £24,020 - £30,790 per annum

The Role

As a Senior Recovery Coordinator, you will work as part of a team to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management to substance misusers (drug and alcohol) across all stages of individuals’ recovery journeys, from assessment and engagement through to sustained recovery. Some key duties are below:

  • Manage a service user caseload, devising, implementing and reviewing on-going recovery plans and treatment.
  • Reduce substance related harm to the individual and wider community.
  • Carry out triage/screening assessments and comprehensive assessments with service users.
  • You will co-ordinate and support a team of apprentices through informal line management support and coaching.
  • Liaise with Active management team across hubs to ensure apprentices are receiving support in the hub, shadowing opportunities and have a clear development plan.
  • Feed into formal line management procedures where needed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Case management experience is essential.
  • Knowledge around substance misuse and/or experience in that sector.
  • Experience of working with carers and families.
  • Experience of supporting apprentices, trainees and/or volunteers through formal or informal structures.
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent would be beneficial.
