Adult Social Worker, EDT (Out of Hours) TeamPay rate to £40 per hour Contract role Vitalis are recruiting for an Adult Social Worker to work in an EDT Team in Leeds.We have an exciting opportunity for experienced social worker/ AMHPs to join a stable and supportive team of out-of-hours adults. The Adults Emergency Duty Team provides a high standard of social work and AMHP cover from 4:30pm until 8am Mondays to Fridays and 24-hour cover over weekends and bank-holidays. EDT is based at a centrally located acute inpatient hospital (Becklin Centre), where there is a close working relationship with health colleagues. The role involves responding to emergency care management, safeguarding emergencies and completing Mental Health Act assessments in a variety of settings.The team has support from managers and on call senior managers when required out of hours, so you’re never having to deal with complex situations on your own. We also have a very supportive EDT back up group chat for people to bring up issues and you will always get a response from fellow AMHPS.We have clear processes and systems to access appropriate resources to carry out the statutory functions of the council out-of-hours.Work with Vitalis to Discover Exciting Opportunities in Qualified Social Work, Housing and SEND
