Kirklees are looking to recruit an Adult Social Worker.

• Experience in Adult Social Work in a statutory setting is essential.• Experience in completing care act compliant assessments and reviews is essential.• Experience in undertaking mental capacity assessments and best interest decisions is essential.• A good understanding and working knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and practically applying this, and the eligibility criteria.• Good understanding of adult safeguarding legislation and ability to apply this to practice and protect vulnerable adults, essential.• Experience in working to timescales and achieving targets.• Being able to implement a strength based approach to assessment and care planning, utilising assistive technology, community resources and partner agencies, whilst taking a person-centred approach, is essential also.• It would be desirable but not essential (as training will be given) if any candidate has experience using our current case management system, Mosaic.
