Behaviour Support Worker

Location: Primary School, Leeds
Position: Full-time, Long Term (Potentially Permanent)

Are you a compassionate and resilient individual looking to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children? One of our primary schools in Leeds is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Serve as a positive role model, fostering trust and rapport with vulnerable children.
  • Implement effective strategies to help children develop self-regulation and resilience.
  • Work both in and out of the classroom to support students in various settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create a nurturing and structured learning environment.
  • Adapt to a flexible timetable to meet the diverse needs of the students.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving and lesson delivery.
  • Ability to set and maintain clear boundaries from the outset.
