Responsibilities of this role:

  • Manage a team of Social Workers, Family Support Worker and Social Work Apprentices.
  • Manage duty on a rota of one day every 4 days (it is expected that managers are in the office on their duty day).
  • Allocate work to the team.
  • Chair strategy meetings and pre-proceedings meetings.
  • Provide reflective supervision to staff.
  • Drive practice standards within the team as part of our improvement journey.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have experience as Social Work Team Manager
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ Post Qualifying experience in Social Work
