Academics are actively recruiting for cover supervisors in the Leeds area!!
Due to a huge demand from our secondary schools around Leeds since the beginning of term we are looking to expand our pool of cover supervisors. Whether you are an experienced cover supervisor or a recent graduate looking to gain some classroom experience, this will be the perfect next step in your career!
As a cover supervisor you will be responsible for covering lessons that are pre-planned, this will involve making sure all the students are working to a high standard and are meeting expectations. You will also be responsible for managing student's behaviour and following the school's behaviour policy.
Flexibility will be required for the role of a cover supervisor, as you will be expected to cover multiple subjects and will be working with all year groups across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
For the role of a cover supervisor we are looking for individuals that can meet the following expectations:
- Must have a DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
- Right to work in the UK
- A relevant degree
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
