Leaving Care Social Worker - £35ph - Hybrid - ASAP Start

NonStop Care are working with a well established local authority in the West of Yorkshire, who are looking for an experienced social worker to join their Leaving Care service. The ideal candidate will have experience working within busy Leaving Care or Children in Care teams.

This position is offering flexible working options, allowing you the opportunity to maximise your time spent in the comfort of your own home, which will help you create a fantastic work life balance.

In this position you will work within a very supportive team, meaning you'll never feel under pressure & can reach out at any time for help, which will ultimately help increase your overall work satisfaction

Responsibilities include;

  • to be responsible for providing flexible support and advice to young people and adults, 16 - 25 years, who are preparing and planning to leave care.
  • Work closely with service users to ensure the best possible outcomes for them.
  • Support other social workers in the team.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work & registered with Social Work England.
  • An up to date DBS check
  • Experience working in Leaving Care/Children in Care
