A well-established eCommerce agency is looking to add a talented and driven Developer to their team and take point on key client’s projects. We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong experience working in an Agency environment, and who with building eCommerce & Web Solutions for a variety of clients.What you’ll be doingOur client is an ethical, progressive, & forward-thinking eCommerce agency who have a track record of building user-friendly, streamlined solutions. Since becoming B Corp Certified, they have been able to use this obtain more projects that personally align with their goals. You’ll be joining them as their team expands and exciting new projects come available as well as providing key support to their established partners. Joining a fast-paced environment creating simple, fast, and efficient solutions, you’ll be working with the newest tech, be supported to investigate and research projects, & develop ideas on how to provide innovative solutions. You won’t be alone; you’ll be joining a strong existing team of Developers (both Frontend and Backend) as well as QA’s and Project Managers who have been there for a long time and can guide you through the process. On top of this, you’ll be given regular meetings to discuss your progression, investigate different routes for you career and be given ownership of, not just your clients, but your own progression also. What experience you’ll need
  • Strong experience Web Development CMS’s such as Craft, Shopify, Magento, or Drupal.
  • Strong experience with PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, & SQL Databases.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, & CSS Pre-Processors.
  • Experience with reviewing data requirements, identifying structures, & defining relevant and suitable CMS sections.
  • Experience with Third-Party API’s (GraphQL and REST).
  • Knowledge of JavaScript Libraries such as Vue.
  • Experience with Yii is ideal but not essential.
  • Strong experience in an Agile environment i.e. Sprints, Clean coding, etc.
  • Experience deploying in a DevOps environment.
