C# / .NET Senior Developer - About the role:
The C# / .NET Senior Developer role will be based remotely working as part of a team of small team and closely with the Head of Development, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the software being developed, and their product roadmap.
You will work on some greenfield projects Developing a range of new Applications ( Including their new AI Solution), in addition to delivering solutions for customers based around C#, APIs, GitHub, .Net, and SQL Server and development frameworks.
You will be able to write new functionality required by the business, as well as investigate different approaches to tackle new projects and requirements. You should be passionate about Object Oriented Coding and Software Design and enjoy the challenges that working with new technology brings with it.
You will be involved in reviewing and writing specifications from customer requirements, develop business solutions from a specification in C#, unit test code and document your solution.
Although the role can be based remotely there will be a need to visit their HQ in Leeds for meetings a couple of times a month in person, other meetings will be via MS Teams.
C# / .NET Senior Developer - Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance solutions and applications utilising Web API’s, ,NET Core, JSON, SQL, GitHub, Azure DevOps
- C# / .NET full lifecycle development
- Build distributed applications.
- Write new functionality and investigate different approaches to tackle new projects.
- Development of their new AI Analytical solution
- Test new developed functionality.
- Work closely with Technical Lead on development projects.
- Development using Blazor frameworks
- Willingness to learn technology when required.
C#.NET Senior Developer - Essential Technical Skills:
Candidates must have some exposure to most of the technologies listed below:
- C# / .NET
- SQL, SQL Server
- Strong OO background
- Web Services , Visual Studio
- Knowledge of Development frameworks ( Blazor an advantage but training offered)
- Knowledge of APIs
- Strong problem-solving skills along with strong communication skills
- Strong back end development skills coupled with UI front end design skills

Candidates must have strong C# .NET and OO development skills with a strong customer service ethos and passion for resolving queries to a high stand. Candidates will have a broad technical skillset and be keen to look at learning new technologies.
There is a strong preference for candidates who have worked with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Restful API’s
The role will be based remotely from home but will require perhaps 2-3 days a month at their HQ in Leeds.
