POST Recruitment is recruiting an IT Systems engineer for a growing Telco business in Leeds.

Join the team as an IT Systems Engineer, where your expertise in IT support, Microsoft 365 management, and network optimization (CCNA is prefered) will play a pivotal role in driving our success.

What You’ll Do

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Microsoft 365 Management: Handle tenant setups, user onboarding, permissions, and access controls across OneDrive, Exchange, and Teams. Troubleshoot account issues, enhance security with multifactor authentication, and optimize cloud storage configurations.
  • Network and Connectivity Management: Design, configure, and maintain network systems to ensure security, availability, and reliability. Manage VPNs, firewalls, and network monitoring while resolving connectivity issues.
  • Technology Deployment: Lead installations of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, ensuring secure and efficient configurations. Utilize device management tools and remote troubleshooting to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Global IT Support: Provide remote and onsite IT support for the client network. Tailor solutions to unique infrastructures while maintaining high service standards across time zones.
  • Project Leadership: Manage IT projects, including server migrations, system integrations, and software rollouts. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, present user-friendly solutions, and provide training and resources to enhance their technical experience.
What You Bring
  • Proven experience in First and Second Line IT Support.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, including Autopilot and Exchange.
  • Strong network management skills, including CCNA certification and VPN/firewall configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with VOIP systems, service desk support, and server management.
  • Exceptional client communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A proactive mindset for troubleshooting and problem-solving with a focus on operational efficiency.
