Company Overview:

Our client is an exciting, ambitious, rapidly growing AI powered Property Tech business that specialise in AI based sales enhancement software. Due to rapid start-up growth, they now require a Software Development Lead to join the business.

The successful candidate will be motivated, ambitious with a genuine passion and love for all things development and driven for progression. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge CRM and API integrations within an existing software infrastructure. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to move within a CTO level position within three years.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and manage a small development team to design, develop, and implement CRM and API integrations to enhance software solutions.
  • Take ownership of the whole development & infrastructure set up. Contributing to the overall architectural design and development decisions.
  • Work on the maintenance and improvement of existing software components and features.
  • Utilize the LAMP stack to develop and deploy efficient and scalable applications.
  • Contribute to the front-end development using React and Typescript
  • Take ownership of future CRM integrations, ensuring seamless communication between different software components.
  • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Embrace DevOps practices to enhance deployment and automation processes (prior DevOps experience is beneficial but not required).
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work in an agile development environment, meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality code.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP development, with a solid understanding of the LAMP stack.
  • Experience with React and Typescript
  • Experience overseeing infrastructure
  • Prior experience working on API integrations is required and existing integration experience with CRMs is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles, tools, and practices would be beneficial.
  • Commercial development experience in a professional setting is required.
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends.
