Role Overview:
Microsoft SQL Database Developer to develop and optimise database queries for their data preparation and visualisation web application. You will be responsible for writing and tuning queries, improving database performance, and ensuring seamless data retrieval for the front end.
We are looking for a Microsoft SQL Database Developer to develop and optimise database queries for our data preparation and visualisation web application. You will be responsible for writing and tuning queries, improving database performance, and ensuring seamless data retrieval for the front end.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimise high-performance SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
Analyse and enhance existing database queries
Design and build new queries, interfaces, and data processes
Support the ongoing development and improvement of our proprietary platform
Collaborate with a global development team and report to the Development Manager
Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years SQL Developer (SQL Server 2008-2022)
Strong T-SQL programming skills and query optimisation experience
Ability to design and improve database structures
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Azure (SQL Managed Instances, Data Factory, Virtual Machines, etc.)
Familiarity with Azure DevOps/GitHub for version control and CI/CD pipeline.
