ussell Taylor are seeking a Class 1 night shunter for a client based in Morley, Leeds. This is a Part time role working 2 night per week (Sun & Mon) starting at 2330 with shifts lasting 8-10 hours.
The role will involve moving trailers on and off bays as well as organising the yard for the next day.
The pay for this role is £17.90 per hr.
Responsibilities
- Conduct checks on trailers for any damage and report this to the line manager.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety.
Experience
- A valid commercial driving licence is required.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
