NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for a Special Needs support Assistant who is looking for a new position in a Special School based in Leeds.

This school caters for children between the ages of 4-16 years and have three pathways of learning for the students depending on their levels of needs which are called; Informal, Semi-formal and formal.

This school caters for children who live with multiple and complex Special Needs including; Autism, ADHD, MLD, Global and Cognitive delay. Every member of staff at this school will be trained in Team Teach and personal care as both of these are requirements of the school.

Successful applicants will have:

  • Level 3 Qualification or relevant qualifications
  • Previous professional or personal experience with Special Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
