Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated learning support assistant to assist in a year 2 class in Leeds on a long-term permanent basis. The job will involve supporting a pupil with autism by providing caring 1:1 support, promoting emotional well-being and social integration daily.

Requirements

Experience In supporting students within an educational setting is preferred.

A compassionate and caring approach.

An effective and strong communicator.

The ability to adapt to various learning styles and needs.

The ability to work independently as a team, liaising with staff and parents.

DBS on the update service required before being placed into work.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years.
