NextGen Teachers are currently working with a lovely Primary school based in South Leeds who are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Early Years (Reception) on a 1:1 basis.

This role is due to start as soon as possible and will be to support this child for 16 hours per week. The work schedule for this position would be mornings only (4 hours) on a; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

This is a three-form entry Primary school who are warm and welcoming and who are seeking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant who has experience working with EYFS / Reception children who struggle with behaviour and emotional regulation and who have Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs.

This role will be to support this child in school on a 1:1 basis both in and outside the classroom and working as a key mentor for this child and their parents.

Candidates applying for this role MUST have previous professional experience working in a school with children with Special Educational Needs and must be available as soon as possible in January 2025.
