SEN Teaching Assistant - September
Introduction
Qualiteach Yorkshire are supporting a leading SEN provision in Leeds who are growing their team in September and are looking for a new SEN Teaching Assistantto join them.
This could suit someone who has worked with SEN learners within a mainstream setting or someone from an alternative background who has transferrable skills.
This is a permanent appointment.
Job Title Responsibilities
- Support learners with SEMH, Autism and other complex learning needs
- Create a safe and positive learning environment
- Work alongside other support behaviour mentors, teaching assistants and other support staff across school
- Support the class teacher, SLT and wider school community
Job Title Requirements
- Experience working with and supporting learners with SEN
- Relevant experience in a similar setting
- A good understanding of SEN
- Full time availability from September
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
