SEN Teaching Assistant - September
Introduction
Qualiteach Yorkshire are working in partnership with a leading SEN school based in Leeds. The school caters for young people aged between 4-16 with a range of needs including Autism, Complex Needs, SEMH and other learning difficulties.
The school are expanding in September and are looking to add additional SEN Teaching Assistants to their team.
These are all permanent vacancies.
Job Title Responsibilities
- Supervise and support learners with SEN across school
- Work under the supervision of the class teacher
- Create a safe and positive learning environment
- Deliver interventions as and when required
- Assist with the implementation of EHCPs
Job Title Requirements
- Experience working with and supporting young people with SEN
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management
- Relevant qualifications in childcare
- Willingness to undertake additional training
