NextGen Teachers are currently working in partnership with a large Special Needs School based in Leeds (close to the Leeds City Centre).

This is a SEN School that caters for Neurodiverse pupils from 4 - 16 years of age. This school currently has 150 pupils and will be increasing their pupil number to 200 by September next year.

Pupils at this school have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) and live with; Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties, Complex needs and Speech, Language, Communication needs.

This school have three pathways for their pupils based on their cognitive ability levels and pupils at this school require support with personal care if and when required.

the school are seeking to recruit permanent staff on Temporary to permanent contracts who are available for a January / February 2025 start date.

In order to be shortlisted for this candidates applying MUST meet the below criteria:

  • Level 3 Qualification or above
  • Previous experience working with Children with Special Needs
  • Be comfortable and experienced with Personal/Intimate care
  • Have knowledge and understanding of supporting children with Special Needs
  • DBS on the update service
  • 2x Professional references
  • Full-time availability (8:30am - 3:30pm during term time)
