NextGen Teachers are currently working with a lovely Primary school based in Leeds close to the City Centre who are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis starting ASAP.

This is a two-form entry Primary school who are warm and welcoming and who are seeking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant to support one of their children in Key Stage 1 who has Autism and who is non-verbal and has behavioural needs.

This role will be to support this child in school on a 1:1 basis both in and outside the classroom and working as a key mentor for this child and their parents. The hours for this position would be 8:30am - 3:30pm working from Monday - Friday.

Candidates applying for this role MUST have previous professional experience working in a school with children with Special Educational Needs (Autism) and must be available as soon as possible in January 2025.
