Veritas Education - Leeds SEN department are looking for new, committed and energetic part time supply teaching assistants to join their team! This could be a great opportunity for anyone currently studying and attending University a couple of days each week, someone who has another job on the side or just wanting specific workdays each week!

The Role:

  • Helping covers sickness calls or when schools require extra staff, this could be pre-booked in or potentially on the day with a morning call!
  • Working across a variety of schools in the Leeds area who support special, learning, complex and behaviour needs.
  • Supporting around the classroom, school, setting, in small groups and potentially on a 1:1 basis with children from different ages/year groups.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility - The role is targeted at team members who are happy to get stuck in across various classes, schools and needs, working alongside a variety of both children and staff throughout the day.
  • DBS and References - All successful applicants will be subject to background checks, through an enhanced child and adult DBS check, and from previous employer/character references.
  • Travel - The potentially is based around the Leeds area, the ideal applicant will be willing to either drive or use public transport around the Leeds area, as each day could be in a different location depending on which schools need additional supply staff.
