SEN Practitioner
Job description
NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting on behalf of an SEN school based in Leeds. The school is a full SEN provision, which caters for children from aged 4 to 16 in formal, semi-formal and informal settings. The children follow part of the curriculum, but a main focus in the school is sensory play. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have a creative and empathetic nature, as well as a strong knowledge of children's development. Candidates will also have experience working with children with special educational needs, such as: Autism, ADHD and global delay.
Requirements for SEN Practitioner:
- The Right to Work in the UK
- An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
- Experience working with children with SEN needs
- Two professional references
