Veritas Education are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a SEN Supply Teacher to join our team, supporting alternative provisions with their teaching needs. We work with some excellent settings across Leeds and North Yorkshire, and due to an increase in demand, we are looking for passionate and skilled teachers to help us meet the needs of these students.

Whether you already have experience working in SEN schools or are seeking a new challenge, we want to hear from you! This is also a great opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to gain valuable experience in the SEN sector.

Position Details:

  • Role: SEN Supply Teacher

  • Location: Alternative provisions across Leeds and North Yorkshire

  • Start Date: Immediate, as needed for daily cover and longer-term placements

  • Pay: Generous daily rate, negotiable for longer-term placements

The Role:As an SEN Supply Teacher, you will be working across various alternative provisions, providing support to students with special educational needs. Your role will involve planning and delivering lessons, providing tailored support to students, and helping them achieve their learning goals in a nurturing environment. The role is perfect for teachers who enjoy variety and are passionate about supporting students in alternative settings.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience working in SEN schools or similar settings is highly desirable, but we also encourage ECTs to apply.

  • Qualifications: You must hold the relevant teaching qualifications, and evidence of these will be required upon successful registration.

  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and support students with diverse needs.

  • Enhanced DBS Check: A valid Enhanced DBS check is required for this role, and we are happy to guide you through the process if needed.
