Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and tailored lesson plans that align with the primary curriculum.
  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students with a range of SEN, including autism and ADHD.
  • Collaborate closely with other professionals, including teaching assistants, and SEN leads to create a holistic approach to student support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and development.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the social and emotional well-being of all students.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience in teaching students with SEN in a primary school setting
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and SEN frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
