Job Description:

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs?

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teacher to join our team in a vibrant special needs school. This full-time position, offered through our agency, begins in September and provides a rewarding opportunity to support and inspire students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with special educational needs (SEN).

- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with SEN coordinators, therapists, and parents.

- Create a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters students' academic, social, and emotional development.

- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.

- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.

- Collaborate with teaching assistants, support staff, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

- Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behavior.

- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on students' progress and addressing any concerns.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

- Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a primary school setting.

- Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and effective teaching strategies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
