SEN School based in Leeds (LS9)

Full-time / temporary to permanent contract

NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for a Special Needs Teacher for one of our partnership schools in Leeds (LS9). This school is just 10 minutes away from the Leeds City Centre and has regular public transport routes to and from the school.

This school caters for Neurodiversity children from the age of 4 - 15 years who live with a range of needs including: Autism, ADHD, Global Delay, Cognitive delay, Speech & Language needs and Social and Emotional needs.

The school are looking for a Qualified teacher with at least 2+ years of experience and who has experience teaching SEN children and who has a background in teaching / support in the Early Years Foundation stage.

This warm and welcoming SEN School are looking for a Teacher who is experienced mainly in Autism and who has experience supporting and teaching pupils who are pre-verbal and who have complex needs.

Successful applications will have:

  • Qualified Teaching Status in the UK
  • A minimum of 2+ years of teaching experience
  • Early Years / SEN Teaching experience
  • A passion and interest in teaching pupils who live with SEND / ASD
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability
