NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of of one of partnership SEN schools in Leeds that caters for 250 pupils from 4 - 16 years with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) for; Autism, ADHD, Complex needs, Global delay, Cognitive Delay, Communication needs and Severe Learning Difficulties.

This school is part of a Nationwide Multi-Academy trust and is situated just 5 minutes in car from the Leeds City centre with easily accessible public transport routes to and from the school. The school are looking to recruit a Special Needs Teacher for their Informal and Formal pathways who is looking for a new challenge in the 2025/2026 academic year with a September 2025 start date.

Shortlisting for these teaching positions will take place on the 24th February with a view of Interviewing on the 27th and 28th February.

The requirements for this SEN Teaching position are as follows:

  • Knowledge and experience working with children with SEN (mainstream experience is accepted)
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) and UK based teaching experience
  • The right to work the the UK
  • Two professional references
  • A DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
