Procurement Specialist | Public Sector | Leeds | £40k-£43k (plus Car Allowance) | Hybrid - Working
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in Leeds to recruit a Procurement Specialist on a permanent basis. A strong background in public sector procurement, with an ability to run end to end tenders is required. The role offers a hybrid working policy, with the requirement to attend the office once a week.
Role: - Experience of running end to end tender processes - Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders - Delivering consultancy services providing proactive and customer focused engagement- Taking ownership and responsibility for allocated procurement projects, from fully managed end to end project lead, to lower complexity support requirements
Individual: - CIPS Level 4 qualification, or relevant experience - Significant understanding of Public Sector Procurement and the changes coming with the new Procurement Act - Knowledge of the market, and understanding the challenges faced by the sector
