Assistant Depot Manager - Leeds

Hours of Work: 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday

Main Purpose of Role:

To support the depot manager with the day to day running of the depot including loading / unloading vehicles, general admin into company database & deliveries to customers / site address where applicable.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with customers in a polite, positive and professional manner
  • Assist with deliveries where necessary Goods in & out
  • Adhere to procedures on goods delivered process
  • Unload goods-in products safely in line with company compliance and store in Warehouse efficiently ensuring all goods are correct and to quality standards
  • Update company database to record goods in and out
  • Professionally assist customer on collection of goods.
  • Proactively manage stock turnaround.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Safe and responsible driver with own licence
  • Good basic written skills and numeracy skills for checking orders etc
  • Ability to learn and develop
  • Organised approach
  • Customer focused
  • Manual Handling
  • Basic IT skills e.g email, excel, data entry.

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
