About the Role:

Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to be working with a leading building supplies company in their search for a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager with a strong focus on procurement. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual with a blend of leadership, operational expertise, and procurement experience to take charge of a successful branch and drive its growth.

As a Branch Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the efficient running of daily operations while playing a pivotal role in the strategic procurement and stock management processes. You’ll manage the branch’s performance, customer relationships, and oversee a motivated team, all while optimizing the supply chain to ensure cost-effectiveness and availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Branch Leadership: Lead, manage, and inspire a team to meet and exceed performance targets, ensuring a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency.

  • Procurement & Stock Management: Take full control of the branch’s procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and optimizing stock to meet customer demands while maintaining cost control.

  • Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring the best terms, timely delivery of materials, and continuity of supply.

  • Sales & Business Development: Work closely with the sales team to drive business growth, identifying new opportunities in the local market, and ensuring that the branch meets its revenue targets.

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure branch profitability and success.

Person Specification:
