Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Forecasting process and management End to End.
  • Partner with Commercial and Finance teams to build and maintain the rolling forecast across all DFU/SKU Channels and Customers at a DC level as required.
  • Monitoring of KPI's and facilitate workstreams and specific actions to reduce deviation.
  • Lead metrics of Forecast Accuracy >70% and Bias +/- 10% (Develop Road map to >80% & +/-5%).
  • Identifying demand variance to enable timely intervention by Supply Planning and Commercial teams to mitigate or avoid the impact to Customer Service.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Commercial teams on the Budgeting processes.
  • Leadership of the DMR within the S&OP process and collaboration into all other requirements for the full S&OP process.
  • Provide Forecast and historical data on demand to enable business analysis on sales and supply performance.
  • Support Portfolio management and NPD execution through the forecasting processes.

About you:

The ideal candidate will be a Senior Demand Planner or ambitious Demand Planner looking to step into a management position.

A minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role is required.

  • Supply Chain knowledge preferably FMCG with a demonstrated excellence in all aspects of Demand Planning and Forecasting.
  • Leadership - Ability to own and lead the End to End Business Forecast, influencing direct/indirect resources and broader functional teams across the Assisi Group.
  • Strong IT & Analytical Capabilities with core knowledge across MS Office, ERP systems like Sage, SAP and preferable analytical tools like Power BI and Tableau (or similar) - The ability to manipulate and analyse data is critical.
  • Communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, articulate across Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial processes - Balancing the Technical with strong facilitation

Capabilities:

  • Systems capability MS Office and ERP preferably Sage/SAP or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and financial capability with problem solving capability.
  • Strong communication skills (English).
  • Demand Planning excellence.
  • Commercial and Customer management.
